Our Story

Ma Dukes is owned and run by chef Isaiah Seay, who founded the artisan pizza shop in honor of his mother and father. After years as a chef and restaurant consultant, Seay reached true success with his high-end catering business, L.A. Roots Catering, which was founded five years ago. The explosive growth has allowed him to expand his reach to other concepts, leading us to Ma Duke's.

Though Ma Dukes was originally conceived with a simple and straightforward approach, it has since become something much bigger, evolving into an homage to Seay's late parents, with the name taken from his mother's nickname. Ma Dukes takes pride in serving classic cuisine with a rustic and uniquely-Californian feel, embedded with influences from all over the globe.

Ma Duke's is located in the Santa Monica Mountains neighborhood of Agoura Hills.
